My heart goes out to Nate and his Family. Nate was recently in a diving accident that caused a break in his cervical vertebrae. He is currently paralyzed from the neck down and in critical condition. I met Nate through work. He started working for me after his football season ended at Skyline. I never got to see him play, but I know he has a deep love for the sports. It breaks my heart to think of him not being able to be active like he has been.
I learned a lot about Nate in his short time working with me. He is one of the most sincere, kind spirited kids I have ever met. If I ever asked him to do something he always did it. If you needed help he was there in a hurry. He is kind and never quick to anger. He is so well liked by his peers.
I have been fortunate enough to meet a few of the Koplin boys this year through work relations, and they are some of the most genuine, down to earth, hard working people I know. The last few years they have faced their fair share of un-deserved trial. I wish I could make it so Nate could be better, but the only thing I can do right now is pray that he can make it through this. I can pray for his family. I want to do what I can to help even if its not much. I want to lighten the financial stresses on this wonderful family, even though I know right now money is the least of this families worries. Please help out anyway you can. Please pray for Nate. Him and his family deserve lots of prayers, help and support. We're praying for you Nate. Know you're loved and respected by many.
