Nasir's Road to Recovery

 I want to thank our immediate and extended relatives, friends who are family, neighbors, co-workers, classmates, teammates, teachers, coaches, and even strangers who showed their love and have been faithful in prayer for my nephew Nasir.

As some of you know, one week ago today, my nephew Nasir had a brain aneurysm. Personally, knowing the statistics of individuals who have had a brain aneurysm, I believe that it was NOTHING but the grace of God that allowed Nasir to be present with us today.

Nasir is currently recovering in the ICU and will remain there for the next three weeks. He has had three aneurysm coilings, in addition to receiving speech and physical therapy services. 

Understandably,  my sister Michelle has taken time off work and my father Michael to see Nasir through his recovery.

I created a Go Fund Me fundraiser to help cover Nasir's medical expenses accrued and for his primary needs.

Nasir has a lot of work ahead of him. However, if you have ever had the pleasure of meeting him, you know he is going to give it his all to heal.

As information is made available to me about Nasir's progress, I will continue to update you all.
