Luke's String of Bad Luck

Donation protected
Our friend Luke has recently had a string of bad luck over the course of the past couple years. And by 'string of bad luck', what I really mean is an absolute flurry of steaming crap.  Bad luck follows this guy like a black cat shattering a mirror on Halloween.

Backstory
First, in the summer of 2014, it was his most prized M:TG possession getting stolen at SCG Portland; his cube. Those who aren't as familiar with M:TG let alone how much a cube is worth, let's just say it's worth in the ballpark of 4, maybe 5 figures. Yikes.

Then shortly after a rather unexpected event resulted in his bathroom being flooded. By flooded, as in water running through the floor to the basement below. Needless to say there was some renovations that needed to take place to fix the damage.

And then there's the unmentionable legal issues from a certain event that, well, let's just say they haven't been pleasant to the checkbook.

Diagnosis
The latest in the shitstorm that's been circling around Luke is that he's been having some medical issues. He's been experiencing some severe pain on the left side of his head and neck. Preliminary diagnosis has been pointing to glandular issues or issues with his carotid artery.

It's early in the diagnosis so there's still a lot of uncertainty around what these issues could entail. However, as a result of the uncertainty, Luke is trying to prepare for the bevy of medical bills in his near future by selling his most prized M:TG possession; his cube. (Yes, he ended up purchasing his cube again after his previous one was stolen).

Luke has done a ton for the popular M:TG podcast, Heavy Meta, and their rabid fan base. When he isn't transporting people between events, he's always lending a hand to help people out in the community.  And quite frankly, he's had to deal with enough shit to suffocate an elephant.

Where does your money go?
Let's give back to one of our brothers and raise some money for his medical bills, legal fees or whatever else life has been throwing at him recently. Any money donated towards this effort will go directly to Luke and will help ensure that he doesn't have his cube stolen from him a second time.
