On Monday, December 18, our beloved Roxy went in for surgery to get spayed. Ever since then, she hasn't been her crazy, fun, loving self.
She has been at the emergency vet in Barrie since Tuesday night, and the vet bills just keep on piling up. So far she continues to be on IV for medication and fluids to help keep her hydrated. She has had blood work done, which prompted the vet to do x-rays. The x-rays didn't show any major concerns, but they also were not 100% clear, so the vet recommended to do an ultrasound - which cost an additional $665.00 plus tax. So far our vet bills have exceeded $2000.00 and it won't stop there. If she does not improve, the next step is to do another x-ray along with surgery, which the surgery alone will cost at the least $2500.00.
Daniel and I love Roxy so much, and Callie misses her best friend. We just want her to come home. This couldn't have come at a worse time than right before Christmas. We appreciate any bit of help (more than you will ever know).
