Naomi Jackson's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Over the Christmas holiday, my friend Naomi Jackson was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Disease. Normal functioning kidneys help remove excess waste and fluid from your blood, but when you have end stage renal disease your kidneys are unable to perform this function. This in turn leads to unhealthy levels of fluid build up in the body that can make you feel very sick. Because there is no cure for this disease, in order to survive Naomi will have to go to dialysis multiple times a week and spend hours connected to a machine that does the work her kidneys can no longer do. This will be the solution until she is able to receive the kidney transplant that she needs. Dialysis is a very time consuming and difficult procedure as it is obviously not something you can miss. It will be a taxing time for her and her husband until she is able to receive the transplant.
Naomi is one of the sweetest people I have ever known, and I know everyone that has the pleasure of being her friend would agree with me. We all know her as someone who is very positive, full of energy, and loves to dance and sing. She has big dreams and big things she wants to accomplish, so at the age of 34 this is a huge shock. Your donation will be able to help Naomi and Antonio with the medical costs, and make life a little bit easier during this difficult time. So please consider donating, even if it is a small amount because I know it will be truly appreciated!
