Naomh Moninne Pitch Development

Since being established over 60 years ago, Naomh Moninne Hurling Club has existed to serve its members (and the local community). The club has encouraged and assisted in the development of many young players through the years. We recognise that this needs to continue for future years.

It has become clear in recent years that the Club has an increasing need for a dedicated playing facility. Accordingly, actions have been taken, in cooperation with Dundalk Town Council (Dundalk Municipal Council), to secure appropriate land in Toberona, in close proximity to the Clubs original birthplace.

You may be aware, the Club has received planning permission for a major development in Toberona, to build two hurling pitches along with dressing rooms, a car park, public toilets and fencing. Progress has been made using funds that were raised in the past number of years, but to complete the plans it is imperative to redouble our fundraising efforts. This is where you can help your Club.
