CHILDRENS SURE HOUSE Uganda mission trip
Donation protected
Hello friends, family and anyone else that has it on their hearts to help me!
I am a disciple from the Treasure Valley Church Of Christ in Boise, Id and have been offered the incredible opportunity to be part of a mission team going to UGANDA, AFRICA to work with the CHILDRENS SURE HOUSE CHARITY.
Although I've only been a disciple for a little over 2 years, God put on my heart many years ago a desire to serve in missionary work. Being a "single" parent at the time and in an abusive, dysfunctional marraige, raising two children on my own, it just wasn't an option. I thought maybe one day when they were grown and able to care for themselves, then maybe, just maybe...
Well, that time has come. MY KIDS ARE GROWN and are both DISCIPLES in the campus ministry, I AM SINGLE and READY TO SERVE!!! and I'm not gettin any younger so please hurry and donate? LOL ;)
The cost of the trip is estimated at $3000. This will cover airfare, immunizations, food, housing and transportation cost while there. I know this is a lot of money BUT if you would be willing to donate even a few dollars, I would be MORE than appreciative! ANY amount helps, no matter how small!
Thank you in advance and if you are not able to donate please keep me in your prayers as I embark on this life changing journey!

SOME DETAILS OF OUR MISSION:
We will be serving the CHILDRENS SURE HOUSE charity working with the Ssese Island project: Most children living on the island are orphans due to the spread HIV/AIDS through prostitution and the high incidence of drowning accidents. As this area is highly impoverished, parents cannot afford to take their children to school.
The project is located at Maboga village, one of the poorest areas on the island. They provide free formal education in well equipped schools and participate in community development projects.
During our time there, we will be working with local builders constructing a school for the orphans, teach and play with the children and help to distribute staple food items to the local community. In addition we will be able to fellowship and share our faith!
We will also be collecting and delivering items to the project including clothing and school supplies. If you have any of these item you would like to donate please let me know.
