Nanay's Journey

Nanay suffered a stroke due to malformation of the vein on September 18, 2017. Little did we know that on that day, a headache could turn our lives around. The right side of her skull was removed to relieve the pressure and saved Nanay's life. Nanay was paralyzed on her left and stayed in the hospital for 1 month and in rehab for 3 months. We spent countless hours in the hospital and in rehab thinking if we ourselves take care of nanay, she will get better, she will recover... Total of 4 surgeries and 2 to go, in between infections and complications we stuck together. Thru the ups and downs, thru the different emotions and tears, we stayed together.

But yesterday, Nanay's breathing has deteriorated and she passed away. Our hearts are broken and our lives will never be the same...

We would be lying if we say it's ok.
We would be untrue if we say there is no pain.
Because the truth is we miss you so much Nay.
Because the truth is we are not ready to leave your side.
