Nakupenda Kenya: Inspiring Young Kenyans through Education
Donation protected
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Alec Alarakhia, and I founded Nakupenda Kenya, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that hopes to improve Kenya's education system. Nakupenda Kenya (which, when translated from Swahili, means "I love you Kenya") is currently fundraising for the expansion of a secondary school named CARM (Catholic Archdiocese of Mombasa) school in Kikambala Village, Kenya, just north of Mombasa on the coast.
CARM school hosts 270 students, and it is the only high school in the area. As such, many young students do not have the opportunity to complete secondary school, leaving them subject to dangerous circumstances such as early marriages, drug abuse, and prostitution. Students cannot pursue an education and become change-makers of the African continent. With your help, we can lift these students to equal opportunity and enable them to succeed.
Nakupenda Kenya has partnered with the school in hopes of raising $20,000, where the funds would go to six more classrooms, two science labs, a computer lab, an admin block, a library, two washrooms, a multipurpose hall, a sports field, water tanks, a borehole, and a biogas digestor. I would be very appreciative if you would be willing to donate to our cause!
