Nakita's Masters Degree

A little about myself: I am a first-generation college graduate.  I am in the last year of a Masters of Science in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling program.  Unfortunately, I have exhausted my financial aid and have been unable to find additional funding. I have applied for several private student loans, and scholarships/grants. As such, I am reaching out to the community for help. I am committed to my studies and to becoming an effective counselor and client advocate. This is reflected in my cumulative 3.8 GPA.  My goal as a practitioner is to work with at-risk populations.  Specifically, I want to provide services to juveniles, post-incarcerated individuals, and veterans.  Ultimately, my dream is to open a therapeutic ranch where I may work with these populations, empowering them to live their best lives!  Thus, your help will allow me an opportunity to pay it forward to the most vulnerable in our community.  As a gesture of good faith, I am also willing and able to provide references to anyone who requests it.  Your support will have a huge impact on my life, and the lives of my future clients.
