Nakisha's Fight

Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping by to view my page.  My name is Nakisha.  I am the proud and loving mother of three of the most wonderful children I know, Kay 15,  DJ 6,  and My Mini-Me 4.  My children and I relocated to Winston-Salem in April of 2017 several weeks after relocating I received the most disheartening news from my doctor.  On May 26th 2017, I was diagnosed with cancer! Yes, just weeks after relocating to start of my brand new job I was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer.  Due to the severity of this type of cancer, on June 8th 2017 I immediately began undergoing chemotherapy treatment. On September 28th 2017, I rang the bell signifying the completion of my treatments, but my journey is not over.  On October 30th 2017, I will be undergoing surgery that will help me in my battle to defeat this foe.  It will take 6 to 8 weeks for me to recover from the surgery now this is where you come in if you remember I said I just relocated. Family, friends and all who are reading this, I need your HELP. Due to this unexpected diagnosis and me recently relocating I am not able to successfully manage my household independently as I've been doing for many years.  Since I'm new at my job I don't have enough sick or vacation days to utilize while I'm recovering from my surgery. My time away from work will be financially stressful to me and my household.  So I am reaching out to ask for assistance.  Any amount would due. I'm not only asking for myself but for my children as well.
