Nae's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Naequon " Nae" Sutton, was only 19 years old when diagnosed with stage 5 renal failure. Rushing to the hospital early in the day on Feb 2, 2015 for what he felt was tightening of the chest or possible asthma attack, Nae was sent home with mere pain prescription and a diagnosis of a bruised lung to only rush back to the same ER with much worsening symptoms. This time Nae was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure as a result of severe bladder retention. His bladder was the size of a basketball! This being said, Nae needs a kidney transplant and is registered at Yale New Haven Hospital for the procedure. His kidneys are functioning at 6%, he maintains dialysis daily, is very fatigued and has been unable to provide for himself now at age 21. The funds raised will assist Naequon with uncovered medical supplies, visits, renal dietary needs and monthly utilities, as well as living arrangements during postoperative procedures in New Haven, CT. Naequon cooperates with his doctors to ensure he is blessed with a matching kidney as soon as possible. Having a rare blood type 0+, and being fairly young, the transplant team vigorously research all referrals and possible donors, living and deceased. Unfortunately, there has not been a match. WE NEED YOUR HELP! If anyone has an interest in being a donor, we ask you'd contact Yale New Haven Hospital transplant center's referral line at [phone redacted] or donate here. Thank you.
