Attention! Sheila needs your support! Anyone who knows Sheila knows that she is full of joy, love, and kindness for others. Sheila is the person who cares for everyone else before taking care of herself. I know Sheila would never be the person to ask for help, so I am asking you to please support this amazing humble, selfless, kind, and caring woman.
Sheila's son Cedrick Lindsay suffered a brutal beating by 6 white Correctional Officers at Madison Correctional Institution, London, Ohio on 11/24/20. Cedrick was in a coma for several days, and after waking from a coma he was returned to the same facility where he was beaten within an inch of his life and faces intimidation daily. Sheila is spending every waking minute trying to support Cedrick's case by calling, emailing, speaking with attorneys, following up with the investigation, applying for early judicial release, and more. Unfortunately, Sheila is struggling to make the payments to support Cedrick and his legal case. Beyond dealing with Cedrick's case and advocating for her son, Sheila is also unfortunately struggling with her own serious health issues, in addition to caring for several other people in her life who rely on her for support every day.
Please donate to support Sheila and Cedrick! The legal fees are expensive, the system is challenging to navigate, but Sheila will not give up! Sheila is willing to spend every last dollar she has to protect her son, but she also needs to care for herself and her health issues so that she can continue to care for others.
