Corey has been very sick for the last few weeks, and on a whim was taken to the ER yesturday when she was having trouble breathing. The diagnosis is still uncertain, but her symptoms remain. She has been fighting a severe cough for the last several weeks, swelling in her legs & feet, and has gained 30 pounds of water weight rapidly. After massive amounts of testing, the CT scan showed multiple blood clots in her lungs. The doctors are still trying to figure out the cause. They are puzzled as to why and how this has happened. She is going through more than any of us could even imagine. With limited resources and no medical insurance, we are reaching out to all of you to help her in this time of need.
