Cancer & Liver Fund for my daughter

This fund is being created to help my daughter Melissa (Roberts) Way deal with a recent life threatening medical situation.  Melissa was diagnosed with PSC- Primary Sclerosing Cholangitits - an auto immune disorder of the bile ducts in the liver.  This diagnosis came in November 2014 after Melissa became Jaundice.  This is a relatively rare disorder and there is no cure - a liver transplant is the the only  option as the disease progresses.  Having PSC increases a person's chances for developing cancer of the bile ducts or colon.  In February, 2015, Melissa received the devastating news that she had in fact developed bile duct cancer.  Treatments for the cancer will now begin and the liver transplant will be on hold.  We are seeking multiple opinions from various hospitals as to the best facility and treatment options available for Melissa.  We are confident that Melissa will beat not only the cancer but this disease, getting a new liver.  

Let me tell you a little bit about my beautiful daughter.  Melissa, (Missy) is quiet, intelligent and a sweet young lady who would never ask for help.  She is 37 years old and is the loving mother of two teenage sons, Joshua and Justin.  She has been a wonderful Mom to her boys all of their lives and has been raising them on her own for the past two years.  Melissa has always worked full time to support her family.  Unfortunately, she is unable to work at the current time.  This financial burden has increased an already stressful situation.  

Any money raised for Melissa will go toward her medical bills, which are significant at this time, and will continue, transportation costs as we travel for treatments and doctor appointments and for everyday bills and expenses.  We need your help in getting my daughter well again.  Any donation, no matter how small, will be a huge help.  We especially need your prayers!!  The power of Prayer in my life has worked.  Thanks so much for reading this!
