Hurricane Florence

Ann is a very dear friend of our family from Hales Corners, WI.  She walked into my mom's first grade classroom 25 years ago to volunteer in her daughter's class...and she never left.  Year after year she volunteered her time to help teacher's lives get a little bit easier.  She watched students come and go,  including her own granddaughter Sydney.  She has spent countless hours organizing and filing, cutting and laminating, entering book orders and creating projects when needed.  When she decided to move to North Carolina to be closer to her daughter Ashley and her family,  she took a piece of our hearts with her.  We were relieved to hear she was safe from the hurricane, but devestated to learn she had lost everything in her new apartment due to flooding. She had been there two weeks.  Ann has touched many lives and those people have reached out to offer help in anyway they can.  We set up this page as a way to give to Ann and support her as she gets back on her feet.
