Help Mr. Peach pee pain free

To know Peach, is to love Peach. Even the non "cat people" have to admit, pure charisma makes Peach the best. Since day one he's been king of the foster kittens, tamer of the sassy cats, leader of my dog pack and cuddle monster to anyone who walked in the door. So needless to say, when this bold, boisterous ball of fur did not greet me at the door two days in a row, I knew something was up. 
         Peach had an appointment at Purdue Small Animal Veterinary Hospital today where after some blood work it was clear he is very sick. Purring throughout the exam and casually lounging in the hospital room, even the doctors remarked they could not believe how sick he actually is. 
         Peach has large kidney stones blocking both of his ureters, putting him in stage four renal failure. Due to their size and placement, using a laser to shrink them so he can pass them is not an option. Unfortunately, his condition requires a very expensive surgery and hospital stay. While I'm lucky enough to receive a student discount, the implantation devises, medications and other surgical equipment cannot be discounted and the cost will be substantial. 
         I normally would not reach out for funding for my own pet. However, at just six years old and with so much spunk, Mr. Peach deserves a chance that I can't afford as a full time student.  
While there are no guarantees, after speaking with the head of the renal department we both believe that with the surgery Peach will have the ability to go on and live a normal life. 
         I am eternally grateful for any contributions you are able to make towards Peach's care. He is truly a member of my family and we both are not ready to say goodbye without a fight. To quote one of my favorite people describing Peach, “He’s the Fu*king Best!”
