Help me study abroad in Sweden!

Hi! My name is Jean and I'm a 20-year-old (soon to be 21!) college student living in New York. I come from a pretty poor family in Kansas, and I had never even left the state since I was 5 (unless to visit a dying relative), let alone the country. When I finally got old enough to go to college, I was determined to leave. I ended up traveling to Rochester, NY to study Museum Studies, falling in love with the history and way the public percieves it.
Unfortunately I was on my own, I've had help from friends and family, but otherwise I'm completely independent. My father passed away from colon cancer right before I went to college, making it hard for my family to set aside money to help me out. I am in my third year and I currently work 3 jobs to pay for rent, food, and transportation, all alongside a full-time school schedule and club activities. I have no family close to me, and only my best friend to lean on in times of need.
Still, I've worked too hard to get to where I am today to turn back now. Coming to college where I have and studying what I have has been the best decision of my life. I want to use my education to help give the public a voice in the realm of history, to help them tell their stories, and I genuinely believe studying abroad will help me widen this aim.
I took on Visual Culture as my minor as I am a very visual learner. No matter if I've lived in place for 10 weeks or 10 years I still feel like a tourist, eyes-wide drinking in the landscape. The way people shape and see the world around them plays a huge role in how public historians and museum curators can help cator the public themselves.
That brings me to today. Recently I've been selected to go on a Visual Culture Studies trip to Malmo, Sweden !! The program runs through my college, Rochester Institute of Technology, but unfortunately my financial aid barely covers HALF of the initial costs, and won't pay anywhere near the initial deadlines.
Overall, the trip is estimated to cost $8121, 500 of which needs to be paid by April 3, that 500 of which I do not have currently as I need to pay rent this month(this has paid for due to help from my mother who got a little bit of money in !! The rest of the fund will help pay for other costs, and rent while I am away in sweden and not working).
The funds achieved through this gofundme will pay for this payment, my airplane ticket (around $1000), and the rest of my study abroad fees.
Please, help me study abroad. As I get closer and closer to realizing this goal I finally feel able to reach this once-in-a-life time opportunity for a small-town girl from kansas. Help me go overseas and take in a different perspective. I can't do this without your help.
