On December 29 2010 my only son was in an scooter accident and was life flighted to the hospital with very little chance of survival . He remind in a coma for close to 8 months when he finally start to make some improvements , three months later he was move to rehab and three months later I had to fight for the right to bring him home with people who loved  him. They wanted to send him away to a hospital  in Atlanta . Said I couldn't take care of him.
for the last three years now my sisters and I have sacrificed everything to care for him , but now with the new health care law it is getting harder and harder to get what we need to care for him and try to give him what little joy we can.
im a proud man and have always work hard and always took care of myself and my son, but now with what it takes to care for my son 24/7 I am unable to work and find myself in a unfortunate need of any help I can get before I have to put my son in a home.
my son knows what going on and recognize people when they come to see him, but hasn't been able speak or walk since the accident , but still laughs and smiles at stories of his child hood. I love him very much and spend everyday letting him know we will never give up on him and do everything I can to keep him at home were he belongs!
thank you for your time and thank you for any help you can give and God bless.
