Jessica's Cancer Treatment

I am a 29-year-old woman who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. News of such a diagnosis is hard for anyone, but I also got this news after learning I was going to be losing my insurance. Many major insurance companies are leaving the individual insurance market around the nation because of the current political situation. 

Fortunately, I was able to sign up for a new plan for 2018, but this new plan is almost twice as expensive as my prior one (more insurance market fun).

Also, this change has forced my doctors to try and rush my surgery in quickly before my insurance changes. 

After my surgery, I will be getting chemotherapy, which has a chance of making me infertile. 

I have the option to try and preserve my fertility, but egg freezing is not covered by any insurer. So I am faced with a very difficult choice about my fertility that I have to make quickly, and is dependent on a large sum of money. The whole egg freezing process (even for someone with cancer) can cost up to $15,000.

Then after chemo, there will be radiation therapy followed by plastic reconstruction surgery to fix the damage to the breast. 

Surgery, labwork, the MRI, chemo, radiation therapy and fertility treatment will probably end up being more than $10,000.  

I have no idea how I'm going to pay for all this. Any help you can offer will definitely be appreciated. Your money will help me defeat my cancer, and help give me the option to freeze my eggs so I can have hope of having kids one day. 

I don't have much time to make this decision about my fertility, so anything you can give will help. And if you have nothing to give, you can always share this with your friends and family.
