Love for Liam

Mindy started experiencing cramping and back pain Friday evening. She woke up early Saturday morning with pain and with much concern David took her to the hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital they found out she was having close contractions. She was airlifted from St Joseph’s hospital in their hometown Eureka because they are unable to handle a preterm birth at this low of a gestation age to USCF Mission Bay hospital in San Francisco which is better equipped for her and baby Liam’s needs. 

Liam Allen David was born early morning September 17th at 2.3 lbs at 26 weeks gestation. Liam is breathing well and healthy. This all has happened so fast and are beyond grateful that our mom was there to help support them and be with Luc. We want thank everyone for your prayers. They can definitely feel the love and ask you to continue to pray for the them. 

Liam has a long journey ahead but we know and believe he is going to be a fighter just like his big brother Luc.  Mindy will be staying with Liam in San Francisco for three months or so until the drs feel he is able to go home. David and Luc will be returning home to work and preschool but of course will visit as often as they can. It is a 5 hr drive for them from their home in Eureka to the hospital in San Francisco. They are awaiting approval for a family stay house that would provide two meals a day which would be a huge blessing. 

I ask that we all please lock arms in prayer and support for them during this time and show them how much they are loved, to uplift them and encourage them during this journey.
