Me and my family

Hi my name is Rebecca, I am stuck here with my adult son Louis and his cat Caramel. In 2017, my son's father passed away and he came to Baltimore from W. TX to live with my husband and I. My husband was getting sicker at the time and things were difficult, but we managed. In 2018, my mother passed away. Then Covid hit in 2020. I lost my younger brother in August of 2020 and my husband in December 2020. I couldn't stand being there and sold my house and moved near my sister in S. MO. Not being accustomed to the area, my son and I decided to move back to Phoenix, AZ where I had spent many years with my late husband. So many things had changed and rents were now outrageous, so after a year and an incident at work, we decided to make one last move to Florida. We put in for job transfers and our boss assured us this would be no issue. Our former boss is a Fort Lauderdale native and as soon as we were ready to start work in our new home, she fire us both, no transfer. Not to mention losing my savings to a rental scam as soon as we had arrived. I just want a home, this is too much on us. I want to go back to work, I need to work. Anything anyone can do is greatly appreciated.
