Dear friends,
The Adrian & Nysie Hurst Fund has been started to help our dear friends who have found themselves in need of our support due to medical bills and unforeseen home expenses, combined with the loss of some of their income.
As you know, Nysie is living with Multiple Sclerosis. This condition has made it impossible for Nysie to be able to teach, and she and Adrian have been trying to make it work on one income. Adrian actually works many different jobs, including his position as full-time school psychologist, but recent medical bills and expensive home repairs have been extremely challenging.
Nysie’s MS has been flaring up since last summer, with hardly a break. The good news is that they have recently found a monthly treatment that has proven very helpful. The bad news is that their insurance will not cover this expensive treatment. They are hopeful that they will be able to convince insurance to pay, but for now, they have to cover it themselves.
As things sometimes happen, their furnace had to be replaced as winter arrived, and their basement flooded twice due to a plumbing issue that also had to be fixed immediately. Unfortunately, this entire combination of events happened over a very short period of time and we are hoping that the strong support system Adrian, Nysie and Sophia have all over the country will come together and give a little love to this awesome family we all call our friends.
Adrian & Nysie are two inspiring and giving people who are finding it difficult to be on the receiving end, but are allowing us to give them this boost anyway.
Give a little or a lot. All is deeply appreciated and all will go towards outstanding bills that Adrian and Nysie are currently facing.
