Kyle Hull Medical Fund

I have setup this page due to a very thoughtful and caring person who came to Kristy and wanted to make a fund page for Kyle but she did not know them personally, so she thought that it would be better and they would be more comfortable with someone close to them being over it. She put it together and sent it to me to create and get it started.

Kyle Hull (Kristy Hull's husband) was in a car accident on the morning of February 1, 2015 and it's by the miracle of God that he survived. He sustained life threatening injuries which included an Aorta dissection(tear), small liver laceration, chest and lung trauma, his entire right leg from the neck of his femur, his femur bone, knee, ankle(3 bones that make up ankle-tibia, fibula, and talus- all broken into multiple pieces), and his left elbow was dislocated and fractured as well. The broken elbow & ankle areas had extensive fracture blistering & have resulted in open wound infections, skin & muscle loss. A wound vac is hooked up now & skin grafts will be required after healing takes place. He has had 5 surgeries as of 2/23/2015, will have another one 2/26/2015 & more will follow. He has been hospitalized since the accident and was on a ventilator and sedated for the first 11 days. Kyle has no use of or feeling in his left arm and the doctors believe that the cause of this is due to damage to his brachial plexus.  That  will require either traveling to Houston or St. Louis to see a doctor to determine and possibly have more surgery to repair it if it is severed, stretched, or damaged and to see if  that is the answer to why he can't feel his arm and has loss function. He needs to go to a rehab center to get the help and physical therapy he needs but they have certain requirements and are denying him so far and it's possible that he will be coming home when the time comes to leave the hospital and Kristy will have to stay home with him for months and take care of him.
This fund is being set up to let people help Kyle and Kristy with all the medical expenses that they will face. So many people want to help and all they have asked is for everyone to pray for Kyle, Kristy, the family, and doctors, so this is another way to help them if there are people who want to and don't know what else to do for them!
This account is set up to be able to be shared on facebook and it makes it very easy to make a donation to his fund. They were presented with this and told that there were several people wanting to set up a fund and they were so humble and said that's so nice & thoughtful, but that it wasn't necessary. If we as Christians, friends, family, etc. can help by just making a small donation, it may help eliminate just a tiny bit of the mental part of the stress that they are both under.
Please remember Kyle in your prayers, as he still has a very long road of recovery and will have to have more surgeries in the future, and continue to pray to God to heal him, as he sees fit. Remember Kristy as well, as she is not going through the pain with him, but she is right by his side and sees what he goes through everyday. Their lives are forever changed. They have both been so strong are handling it all so well and giving it to God.
