Yamile Calles Story

My name is Jorge Calles

I wanted to tell you about my wife Yamile Rocha-Calles. She grew up in Texas and has a degree in nursing. She has gotten a cancerous tumor in her head and was able to beat it through Chemotherapy years ago. She worked as a nurse for children. She volunteers in the white rock marathon for 10 years.
In the past year she was a gym director for anytime fitness. She motivated many people to change there lives in a positive ways. The reason writing you is this. On Sept 28 one month after returning from Afghanistan there was a drive by shooting in our residence we were asleep 1 am  and my wife got struck in the chest trying to shield our son with her body. Immedietly called 911. the surgeons were able to save her life. She lost a pice of her stomach damaged her pancreas and lost a kidney. We are still in the hospital. She is still in bad shape and will take over a year to get better. I her husband care for her and our son. I will like to raise this money to take care of my families needs She has hone through 7 surgeries . I cannot see myself taking my family back to this home were I almost lost all my family. We worked for everything we have and social security has denied my wife any support. how is it that I can be sent to iraq and Afghanistan and come home to this and my own country wont help us when we need it ? thank you in advanced for your prayers help my family live a safe life .  I need a new start and we need a new start unfortunatley this is a catastrofic event. I mean do you leave your wife and kids to go to work when she cant bearly stand on her own? this is a leap of faith I HAVE ALL READY LEFT IT IN GODS HANDS.
