Innowalk for Ari

Ari is a 10 year old boy with Cerebral Palsy, Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) and Epilepsy. Despite all of these issues, he is the happiest kid we know. His amazing sense of humor is contagious and keeps everyone in a good mood. There is no limit to what we have done and will do to make him smile and laugh. We were recently introduced to the Innowalk, a motorized medical device that gives disabled people a fantastic opportunity to experience assisted and repetitive movement in an upright weight-bearing position.
Ari was given a 1 hour session and took to it immediately (see video). Of all the medical devices and equipment we have tried, the Innowalk is something we know will help him bear weight, learn to walk and strengthen his muscles. He was excited to use it and kept saying "more, more, more". One of the few therapeutic devices that didn't leave him sore or in any pain after his session. Unfortunately, like most things in life that are beneficial, the Innowalk comes with a hefty price tag which our insurance won't cover.
Every little bit brings us closer to Ari's Innowalk. We truly thank you for any donations and for taking the time to read our story.
