Hurricane Harvey Relief

Hi, We are Miguel Saldana and Sanaz Norouzi, we recently moved to Houston.  In our short time here Houston was devastated by the amount of rain and eventual flooding.  One person who fell victim to the flood is a dear friend of ours, Asal Rahimi, who have helped play host to us in our transition and move to Houston. 

We are looking to raise money to help them! They unfortunately have been one of the victims of the flooding from Hurricane Harvey. Their house withstood the storm, but due to the drainage of the city and the overflow of the reservoir their house and neighborhood was engulfed and under water. This was conpletely unexpected as they were not in a flood plane in Houston.

These events have been very hard on them as the damage hurts in mulptiple ways, emotionally with having to throw away cherished belongings, financially for having to tear down and replace the walls affected by water and mold, and physically with spending a lot energy to get their life back on track while trying to fix their home.

I ask all of you that are able to can donate to them, as they are a model of kindness and would help others without question and now need our help during this difficult time. This money will be used to help pay for the repair caused by water damage in their house and to replace many of their belongings that have been damaged due to the water and subsequent mold.  The funds will be fully available to them once they begin the demo/construction work in the next week or two.
