Part of their home, more pics below story

Hello Beloved Family & Friends,
My name is Jessica Scholl and I'm one of two older biological sisters to  Jennifer Gines-Baez, her Husband Jova, and their 7 year old boy Johnathon. My husband and I currently live in Oregon,  but they live in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico up on a hillside in a home they built all by themselves over a 6 year period.  My husband and I visited their home in 2012 when we also lived in the Western part of Puerto Rico. Their home wasn't huge or grand in any way but it was theirs and it had all that they needed. Hurricane Maria's eye destroyed their home, car, furniture (soaked through and through), so everything inside. What little remains is wet and mushy clothes and furniture, broken car and Jonathon's toys and such are barely savageable. My sister did not ask for financial help, but we are offering to assist them in whatever way we can. I will personally withdraw the funds donated and transfer the funds in increments to Jennifer's personal bank account or through Money gram as soon as they have access to internet, some electricity, and bank use. One Walmart opened not too far from them but there is a very long line; not to mention difficult to get there without car or assistance. They are able to pick up cash from the ATM or through wire. They were recently able to get a 24 family pack of water.  FEMA, Govt aid, and relief efforts have not been able to reach them yet and they are hoping for help.
How the funds will be spent:
The funds could pay for Airfare if they had to leave to stay with family in the U.S. IF neccessary.  However,  they are choosing to stay in PR to rebuild their home and have already started with whatever basic materials they have available, which is nil to none.  These funds would purchase cement and material to rebuild, sleeping bags, tent, propane stove,  ECT.  They are hoping to slowly repurchase the lost items inside their home and plenty of other lost conveniences and necessities (canned foods and goods, candles, medicine, battery operated flashlights, clean water, clothes).  With this money they will also be able to share whatever items they can get with their neighbors.
My brother in law has a job but is unable to work and collect money because of the damage through out PR (roads, miles of mud, and car broken), lack of electricity and water supply. She goes to the river to wash her clothes right now and even drinks the water with some lemon to kill bacterias.  Even though cars are broken down, they like many other, often sleep in the car as it has covering. They also share what little they do have with neighbors and neigbors have shared with them as well! My heart is so saddened to see them go through such trials and heartfelt prayers are needed for the entire people of PR, but if we can help our relatives, family in Christ and/or  one person at a time, then it is a beautiful start. Let us encourage them with our outpouring of assistance and love. They are not alone!Another part of home roof and damage (bare bones)
