Carrie Parkes Smith

My Sister, Carrie (62) has recently been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure - Diastolic.  She has had decades of poor health because of Diabetes Type II and had to have her lower leg removed from complications of a "botched" ankle surgery in 2008.  She lives with constant pain. Her diagnosis leaves her with up to one year to live. 

Her husband is currently using his/their retirement (5 years before retirement age) as he became disabled in Dec. 2016 from a rear-end car accident and has been denied disability income as his physician did not chart his accident injuries completely/correctly.  No settlement has been awarded. They have no medical insurance since he became disabled and lost his job.

Her medical bills will live on long after she's passed.
