Myrna and Gerzon Hurricane Relief

On September 20th of this year, the strongest hurricane to hit Puerto Rico since 1932, devastated the island. Myrna Ceide and Gerzon Sanchez live and work on the island and are raising 2 beautiful children. On this day, their lives changed dramatically. Not only did they have to comfort their children and try to remain calm during this terrifying experience, but they are now left with the unimaginable task of trying to pick up the pieces of their broken lives. Gerzon lost his business to the storm and at this point insurance will not be covering the loss. They have also lost countless personal items to water damage and the garage door was ripped from their home. Myrna is a talented and compassionate dentist who serves a population of those in need, often at the expense of her own paycheck. Without light and clean running water, she is unable to continue to work and treat these patients. They currently are living life day by day and are remaining positive and grateful to God that they are all safe and together. They are a force to be reckoned with and will come through this stronger. Those that know this family know how caring and generous and selfless they truly are. So many have asked how they can help them directly. This is why this page has been created. This will help ease the financial burden of rebuilding their lives so they can focus on mending their hearts and minds.
