Hey peeps! It’s been a LONG journey to get to the place of starting a fundraiser for this amazing soul. I could go on and on about what a cool person she is.. so, I will try to give you a summary. Foremost, she is a kind mother and wife, who does the very best she can every day for her family. She is a wonderful advocate for those who need it, as exemplified in her role at the Opportunity Foundation where she supports individuals with disabilities. She is an incredibly hard worker, with amazing gifts. She is my friend, my confidant, my sister.
She was diagnosed with colon cancer August
28th, 2019 . Since that time she has gone through aggressive treatment with an attitude I could only compare to an angel with a sense of humor. She recently thought she was in remission. However, that was not in the cards. She is going round two. It goes without saying that the costs are mounting. I have offered many times to start a fundraiser. Danielle and her husband have politely declined. Her husband, Nick was a first responder at the Pentagon on 9/11. Both are humble people who are devoted parents and have been together through many challenges . But, with the need for continued treatment and travel for a clinical trial, we are in need of support in this regard. Please, consider contributing to this fundraiser to ease the financial burden for my dear friend and her family.
