Myles's Medical Expenses

Since birth Myles Mulé has been on the move.  Always active, Myles played ice hockey and lacrosse.  As he got older, Myles kept his active, healthy lifestyle with running and yoga.  Of course, being a Long Beach boy, Myles loved to surf. And this love of surfing took Myles all over the world. Myles has surfed on most every continent, combining his love of catching a good wave with his appetite for adventure, exploring new cultures and meeting new people.  

However, Myles was raised to have a purpose in life. So he became a teacher. He currently teaches middle and high school English language learners at a public school in Far Rockaway, New York. His experiences have made an excellent teacher and he is loved by teachers and students alike.

This July, Myles was on the beach in Nicaragua when he was attacked and hit in the head with a large stone causing a traumatic head injury. Unfortunately, his insurance will not cover his extensive treatment which included more than two weeks in a private Nicaraguan hospital, with multiple CAT scans and medications to control swelling, bleeding and pain.  Fortunately, through their skilled care, Myles recovered enough to come home and will eventually have a complete recovery. We are seeking $15,000 to help cover the medical costs for his treatment. We are so blessed that Myles is still with us, please help us help him.
