HUMBLING ASKING FOR HELP

Hi, this is Shane Terry. I definitely do not want to ask for help and never ask for help,  but I am at a very difficult crossroad. I don't even really know what to say. Or how to say this. Start off with this is my fault.  As most of you know it was necessary to close my Auto Repair business do to my wife's medical condition fighting Multiple Sclerosis. Between the struggles to take care of her, home life and business all at the same time I could not handle it all anymore. At this time Cheryl's legs have got so bad that she can no longer use them at all. I am having to lift and carry her everyday day and it takes everything I have to get her 5 feet to give her a shower. The state already wanted to put her into assisted living. There is no way we both could survive if that were to happen. So I had to take action. I need to find a home to be able to have the equipment to move her and be able to take care of her safely. After realizing I was not going to be able to get what done with the business income I found a great job and am trying to rebuild my life. I worked and built my credit and saved money for a down payment to have a house built that is handicap accessible.  At this time I am doing everything I can during this time  to keep her out of assisted living until our house is ready in September.  Well, here is where I made the colossal mistake. Today with no warning the state sent a letter to my workplace to garnish my check.  I new we owed and am not denying that there is money owed for taxes. I thought it was around $5000 dollars we owed. According to the state we owe the amount that is on this Go Fund me page.  Honestly I had totally forgot about the taxes due to no contact with them and we have received our taxes back both years we have been out of business.  The amount that  will be left from each check after garnishment is not even enough to take care of living expenses and now the money I put on the house will be gone and no house. No house means that in a short time Cheryl will be sent to assisted living. I do not expect anything from anybody and honestly don't feel I deserve any help. I am not doing this for me. I want this for her. I am going to fight until there is no fight left in me.  My heart right now is very heavy. I do not want to fail her. Thank all for reading and any help that you may give.
