Everyone has a battle.
My brother Matthew has had a lot of them. I'm here trying to get him the services that he needs to live a good life. Services that are out of my reach without help.
Matthew was born with several neurological "challenges" that he's endured with great humor and grace. He's always the guy with a smile on his face.
But it's hard to smile sometimes. Matthew needs services to help him live a healthy life. He's been approved for funding through the state for these services. But he has to be enrolled in the "Plan of Connecticut" to get the funding. We need a lawyer and start-up costs.
So we are asking for help.
When we get Matthew enrolled in the Plan of Connecticut, he will get valuable medical and home health care support that will greatly improve his quality of life.
And that's all anyone wants for their loved ones.
