Defraying Dave's Veterinary Costs

On February 9, I had to bring my boy to the emergency as there was blood in his urine.  He stayed there until Sunday and had large stones removed from his bladder as well as a PU surgery to help prevent future issues.  The surgery and stay at the hospital put him under a significant amount of stress and he developed anemia, likely due to pancreatitis.  Dave was in too much pain and stopped eating altogether, not even treats, despite being given drugs to induce his appetite.  On February 16, his pain ended.  My beautiful boy had just over 4 years on this earth, and less than one of those was with me.  

This is not a request for financial aid.  A number of kind souls have offered to help with my vet bills for Dave, and I have adamantly been rejecting them. In a backwards way, this has been very selfish of me. Letting people help is letting them love you, and allowing them to do something good in a situation where everything else is out of their control. I'm sorry for discouraging your love and generosity.

I will not go homeless or hungry. Please do not give if you are not able and do not give more than you can comfortably part with. In order to create a pressure free environment, for you and myself, I would request that any donations be made anonymously. Not that I would ever judge anyone for not giving, but I understand the potential pressure that can put on people, and that is the last thing that I want.
