Please help Faith Beamon with her medical bills!
Faith was critically injured in a car accident near Quinlan, Texas on 11 December 2018. She was life flighted by helicopter to Medical City Hospital in Plano where she has been in ICU Trauma. Faith sustained a traumatic brain injury, broken bones, internal injuries, and was placed on life support. She has undergone several surgeries: removal of a section of her right skull, repair both jaw bones, broken arm, trach, and feeding tube. She also developed pneumonia but has been responding well to antibiotics. Faith has made a miraculous recovery so far now being able to breath on her own, track with her eyes, and move her fingers when asked but she still has a tremendous fight ahead. She has been approved for transfer to a rehabilitation facility and will be moved there once a bed becomes available. Faith has only the CHIP insurance but an application for Social Security Disability has been submitted through the hospital.
Faith is an 18 year old single mother of a 3 month old little boy who was on her way back to college when the accident occurred. She has a love for working with special needs children becoming a peer coach before graduating from Corsicana High School. In college, she is pursuing a degree that will allow her to continue to work in that field.
The path forward for Faith will be long and expensive but she is a fighter and her name continues to be lifted up in prayer. She is surrounded by the love of parents, family, and friends as well as the compassionate care of her doctors and nurses.
