My Uncle was a victim of violent home invasion

My uncle (67) was the victim of a violent home invasion and robbery on November 10, 2019 He heard a knock at the door, and went to answer it. That's when someone forced there way into his home. He was beaten and robbed. We didn't know for sure if he would survive the first 24 hours. His injuries are so sever that the will require reconstructive surgery to his face and hands. Both his eyes sockets were busted from the blunt force trauma . He will require steel plates in his head, cheeks and nose. The attacker(s) also broke his hands and nearly bit his thumb off because he tried to fight back. I am starting this GoFund me page to help raise money for him and his family. He has a very long road of recovery ahead. One of his sons is staying with him at the hospital as much as possible. I just want to make sure they have the things they need for this long heartbreaking journey. Please help in anyway you can. Also please keep them in your prayers.

Update: Nov 13, 2019 Asking for prayers for my Uncle Randy. He's currently in surgery and will be there 5 to 9 hours. They are putting steel plates in his cheeks, head and nose.

Update. Nov 14, 2019 Randy had 9 hours reconstruction surgery. Steel plates were put in his cheeks, head & nose. He quit breathing during the procedure, and is on breathing machine. His body has been through so much. Everyone please pray for his recovery & pray they catch whoever did this so they can be punished and so they can’t do this to any one else. Pray for his 4 boys. Give them strength to be by his side. It's a awful thing to have to see your father go through this.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you again today in prayer for Randy and his family. Thank you Lord for your mercy as you walk beside Randy through this storm. We ask for your healing power to touch every broken part of his body Lord. We ask that you restore him to walk in you . Trusting in your promise to never forsake him. Please be with the medical staff that care for Randy. Let them be an instrument of you in everything they do for his treatment and rehabilitation. Please be with his children Lord. Bring comfort to their hurting hearts. May they seek your word and know your compassion, grace and mercy. We also pray for Aunt Ruby who has already experienced so much heartache. We ask that she lay this burden at your feet Lord, trusting in you to heal her brother. Your word tells us where there is great love, there is also miracles. Hear our prayers Lord. We are your faithful servants. In your sweet name we pray Amen.
Update: Nov. 18 2019 Some good and bad news to give: Randy was able to eat a little bit of grits and yogurt today. He sipped a little bit of coffee too, so hopefully that will help his to gain some strength. The bad news for the day is he is blind. He can see images, light, shapes basically. The Doctors are going to do surgery to see if they can correct his vision. If not he will be a candidate for an eye transplant. They are going to have to pull what's left of his teeth and make a special plate to fit his mouth where it has so much damage. He can’t hear good. He has blood behind his ears, but hopefully they can drain the fluid. It will still be a while yet,before he has the surgery on his hands. His body has already been through so much but by the grace of God he is improving. He has a long recovery ahead. Please continue prayer for him and the family.
