One of my best friends, Paul Samson, is dying! After reading Sir Chris Hoy's autobiography he realised he had some of the symptoms Sir Chris had described. He went to his doctor and discovered the devastating news that he was suffering from exactly the same terminal prostate and bone cancer that Sir Chris has. Paul has organised a team of friends to take part in Chris's Tour de 4 Fundraiser in September. Obviously we want to raise money to fight this disease but more importantly we want to raise awareness of this curable cancer and urge you, (if you're a man of a certain age), to go and get yourself a PSA blood test. Paul had no idea he had cancer, he had no symptoms other than a slightly painful shoulder, if he'd had the blood test, things might have been very different for him.
