Chuck and Fawn Aaron & Kids

My son is a purple heart recipient wounded in Iraq 9-11-2003. He married his amazing wife in 2015. They both had one child from a previous marriage and eventually had one themselves. They have a beautiful family that is struggling financially right now.  His wife Fawn has been an ICU RN for 16 years, she has dedicated herself to saving others.  She was diagnosed with a life threatening heart condition often called Takosubu Cardiomyopathy or "Broken Heart Syndrome." Her heart is only pumping at 15% of what it should . She was a significant financial provider to their family and has not been able to work since 9-13-17. She wears a portable defibrillator 24/7 and it is unknown if her heart will get better. My son suffers from Depression, anxiety and PTSD . Fawn also suffers from the same conditions but unrelated to war.  They are in desperate need of help as they have no idea when Fawn will be able to work again. She was not qualified for unemployment, had no disability through her work, and has applied for social security benefits but that takes years sometimes. I sincerely ask to help my family during this holiday season and these difficult times. Just their rent is half of Charlie's disability. With tears, Kathy Aaron
