My Road to Citizenship/ Keep Miguel Here

I arrived in the U.S. when I was two years old, and I became a U.S. permanent resident in 1998. After more than fifteen years as a permanent resident, I decided to apply for naturalized citizenship. My application for naturalization is being resubmitted this year 2019. However, I lack all family and financial support, and this has stifled my previous attempts to become a U.S. citizen.
Naturalization is a long, complicated, and costly process. The initial costs must be covered upfront. In addition to transportation and legal counsel expenses, the naturalization application forms alone cost $725, and court documents cost up to $200. My permanent residency expires in the coming months, and it will expire while I wait for an appointment for naturalization. I need to submit a renewal application for permanent residency and pay the application’s $540 fee. The costs are far more than the initial goal but a little goes a long way. Anything you can contribute is tremendously appreciated.
