My Mum’s Brain Cancer Fund

 

Hi, my name is Freya and recently I got the heartbreaking news that my gorgeous mum, Kelly has brain cancer.

She has two tumours in her brain that unfortunately are inoperable, due to where they are.

It all started with a migrane, then mum became more ill over the course of a weekend, we called an ambulance and within hours they saw from the scans she had 2 shadows in her brain.

In the space of 4 weeks we have been told she has grade 4 GBM cancer, they have offered radiotherapy but it could shorten her time with us.

We have looked at alternative treatments such as Immunotherapy and vitamin C infusions. These treatments can help relieve my mums pain and potentially keep her with us just that little bit longer.

I would do absolutely anything to keep my mum by my side for as long as I can.

It is usually just my mum and myself living together and it has always been that way.

She is my best friend but unfortunately, these treatments are not provided through the NHS.

I am only 16 and only recently began working but had to quit due to mum’s health.

We have only lived off Mum’s income for the majority of my life. However, she is unable to work and we are unable to afford these expensive treatments.

All I ask is for anybody who sees this to please donate anything you can, no matter whether it is big
