My Moses a brave soul

I am Maria Lancaster, from Darlington.

I adopted my dog around 11 months ago.

My dog Moses was thrown in the street and left to starve. He was a victim of cruelty his paw chopped off and thrown out of the car onto the motorway.

Sometimes done by the perpetrator to ensure the dog dies.... But he was saved and taken to the shelter on the Moldova border.

He was not doing well there either and he couldn't ensure the other dogs would let him have his portion of food.

Kate Morgan Lloyd saw him and she asked Elena Vicol to collect him and asked Denise Hardwick from Doggys Den UK Rescue if they would help get him to the UK.

Both said yes, which I am eternally grateful for.

Moses had a torrid journey and arrived many days after he left Romania on transport to Doggy Dens kennel in the North of England.

Miracle Missions offered help and placed him with a Foster in the hope he could be fitted with a prosthetic leg. But his stump was not suitable.

His was with a foster family for a while.

He found his forever living home with me!

He now needs more specialised help to get the best out of life, as walking on three legs and the cruelty he has endured has taken its toll on his spine and nerves.

Butterwick rehab centre in Darlington have offered a discount on his treatments, which he has started.

He needs a course of treatments to help him, your donations would be greatly appreciated to help with his treatments.
