Hello,please read all updates from us.
We need your help and prayers. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.....We were very happy when they told us there is hope and after bunch of tests her oncologist told us that she don't need a chemotherapy,she will only need a immunotherapy....that's only medication called xalcory....she was on that medication for 1,5 years but then her foot was swelling and it becomes covered with wounds...also she had a high fever...we went to the hospital and they found after a lot of tests that she have a sepsis....she was very confused,memory loss,disorientation,she was doing and saying stuff that shes not supposed to, she had high fever....They sent us home after they found that there is no more sepsis....After awhile she started to be confused a lot more and a lot more disorientation a lot of headaches and we went to the er again. This time they did a cat scan of her head and brain....They found in her brain metastases and liquid around them....It's not operable, only radiation or hospice.....If hospice she will live about until 1 months, if radiation she will have prognosis from 6 mo to 1 year....We still didn't told her the prognosis, she's not so good in English, so we are just telling her that nobody knows how much time she will have.....Right now she is on steroids and she is not confused so much so she always saying that she will leave soon to God, that she's feeling it......I'm always crying.......Nobody knows how her body will react to radiology.....We have already so much expenses and we need a lot more....We need help for medical expenses, funeral expenses. But most of all we need prayers....and for right now we really need a person to be staying with my mom, because after radiation she will probably loose her memory, her concentration, her confusion probably will return .... I have 5 kids. One of them 7 years old. I'm on SSI. I have MS and heart surgery and heart problems, resent hysterectomy, kidney tumor, breast mass, osteoporosis, i'm anemic and i don't have energy at all. My overall health is so bad... I have to stay with my mom with my little kid to help her because of her confusion and disorientation and because every minute is counts and i want to be with my lovely mommy as much as i can.....thank you all for your support and your prayers...God bless your hearts!❤
