My Journey to End Human Trafficking

Why am I leaving my everyday routine and the comforts of my home along with everything I know and love? I'm going to hike The Pacific Crest Trail! I will be hiking from Mexico to Canada, a total of 2,650 miles!
I feel so blessed and excited to be able to say that my purpose in hiking The Pacific Crest Trail (starting April 2, 2018) is to raise awareness to end sex trafficking and sexual abuse. I feel honored that I have been called to help be a voice for these victims. The majority of the funds raised will go to help support the non profit Courage World Wide and other sexual abuse victims.
It is my heart's desire to see sexual abuse and the horrific world of sex trafficking come to an end. Because of personal experience, these two issues are very important to me. I can not be silent about this terrible epidemic that is destroying so many lives through out our country and around the world.
My children are grown and they were taught to be servers and givers. We've spent many years working with the homeless community. I am also a cancer survivor, along with other major health issues. I've spent countless hours advocating for cancer patients so they could have the care and support they deserve. Unfortunately I spent 4 years in a wheelchair, but I never gave up. I spent many many months in physical therapy and worked harder than I ever had.
To make this happen, I am asking for you to link arms with me and help STOP this horrible epidemic. I encourage you to donate to my GoFundMe page. You may also send donations directly to me. If at any time you would like to join me on the trail, that would be awesome! Come for a day, hike for a week, whatever you can do!
