My Husbands Kidney Transplant

My husband is 34 years old and is currently on dialysis for renal failure. He unfortunately was diagnosed with high blood pressure as a child and it has come to the point where he now needs a new kidney. He is on the wait list and his transplant can be at any time. We have 3 young children and he works his ass off to support us all in the day and undergoes dialysis treatment 3 nights a week. When it is his time we will need to head down to Adelaide for the treatment and have up to 3 months off work for recovery. During this time we will have no income and will struggle to not only pay our rent for our house in Darwin but also to be able to feed our children. We are trying to save as much as we can but without knowing when his surgery will be, it is hard to know how much we’ll have when the time comes.
