My Friends, Family & FireFighters

Friends,

If you're reading this then you've been affected. Whether you know me personally or through some degree of seperation, I need your help.

As most of you know, the fires in Southern California are 0% contained and spreading fast. They've already burned through 65,000 acres and destroyed over 150 structures. 12,000 additional structures are currently being threatened and mass evacuations all over Ventura County have been conducted. While you're reading this, a total of 1776 fire personnel, 362 fire engines, 32 fire crews and 12 helicopters are fighting aggresively to protect life and property while trying to control the fire perimeter.

I was born and raised in Newbury Park, California.
My grandparents live in Oxnard.
My aunts, uncles and cousins reside in Ventura.
My friends can see the fires approaching from their backyards.
Some of my best friends, school mates and friend's parents are among those 1776 firemen.
My Aunt Amber & Cousins Brendan and Jayson  have lost their home.
Every time I open my newsfeed or text messages, I see another person I know that has suffered.

I know there are countless efforts and other fundraising pages going towards organizations and groups who are helping the victims. Here is how mine is different.

I will collect monetary donations for the next 7 days, spreading the word and trying to get as many people to help as possible. Once I have the grand total, I will divide it all evenly and personally send the money to the following:

- My Aunt Amber, Cousins Brendan/Jayson & Family <3
May this donation help pay for the bare necessities or to make life easier even for one day as you recover from this tragedy.

- My Friends Fighting These Fires <3
The Sommer Family, The Alviso Family, The Nava Family, The Fierro Family, The Orr Family, The Flores Family.
May this donation pay for a meal or serve as a small thank you for all your countless hard work and heroism.

- My Sisters Lauryn and Peytyn <3
Who are organizing and collecting water, food, clothing and money for all the victims. Theyll be making daily runs to Costco, the Red Cross and local evacuation shelters. May this donation go towards all their efforts.

Whether it's $1, $5, $10, $20, $100, or $1000.
Every little bit counts.
Please help us help those who are in need.

Thank you for your time, please share with others and together let's try to get through this tragedy. <3
