My Father's Dialysis

Hello everyone, my name is Krystle and this cause is to raise money for my father, Mr. Proculo Entea, for his kidney failure treatment. My parents are from Zamboagita, Negros Oriental , Philippines. They are here in Toronto, Canada to visit me and my siblings and to attend my wedding. The plan is to stay in Toronto for a period of 6 months.
They arrived in June 2018 and have been enjoying their vacation. Suddenly 5 days before my wedding, my dad had a fever, felt weak, and could barely eat. Two days before my wedding which is also my wedding rehearsal, his condition got even worse and we decided to call an ambulance and rushed him to the hospital. He was then diagnosed with a kidney failure with immediate need for dialysis since his creatinine levels were at 800 range. It is sad to say that on my wedding day, the reason for their visit, my father was unable to come since he required ICU treatment and dialysis.
My father is in the ICU for 2 weeks now and is receiving critical medical treatment while on dialysis. Currently, they paused his dialysis to observe his kidneys and his CREA is still at 600+. Improving but CREA level is still too high.
Canadian hospital fees for tourist visa holders are extremely expensive. An admission on the ICU is approximately $6,000 CAD per day and that is exclusive of doctors and lab fees. Before my parents have arrived here in Canada, we have purchased $15,000 worth of medical insurance thinking that will be sufficient for their stay, however, given the unfortunate situation, it will not be enough. I am starting this Go Fund Me campaign to humbly ask for your help in any little way possible for my Papa’s extra medical expenses. I know in my heart that he will be able to recover fully.
