My Family Lost Their Home to Australian Fires

My elderly mother and father Barbara and Lyle Stewart and retired brother Brett all live together on the south east coast of New South Wales, Australia in a very small town called Nerrigundah.

The rampaging bush fires in the area have completely destroyed the home that my father built with his own hands nearly 40 years ago along with nearly all of their possessions. Their entire lives were in that home. They escaped safely but weren’t able to take hardly anything with them. 

My father stayed behind to try to fight the fire and save the house but he was overwhelmed and barely made it out himself.

My husband and I moved to the USA a few years ago and we don’t have the means to help them in any other way. I am just looking to help them in any way I can through this incredibly hard time for them and help them be able to get back on their feet once the fires  finally end and hopefully help them rebuild their home once the fires are over and they can return to the property it once stood on.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and will go directly to them so they can try to get their lives back together.
