My Daily Battle: A Call for Your Generosity

Hello everyone,

My name is Wanda, and today, I'm taking a step I never thought I would: sharing my story with you, open-minded and kind-hearted individuals. Two years ago, my life was turned upside down by a diagnosis that has redefined every aspect of my daily life: a severe autoimmune disease. This illness has taken away my ability to walk and use my hands as before, turning simple tasks into insurmountable challenges.

I am a single mother, navigating these challenges with all the strength I can muster. While I have maintained a good relationship with my daughter's father, he too is unable to offer financial assistance due to his own battle with a severe heart condition that has left him disabled and unable to work.

I am currently on long-term sick leave, and my income has decreased so much that I struggle to pay my rent, let alone cover my basic needs like food. My family, especially my daughter who is studying music hours away from me, does her best to help. But I know her own dreams and aspirations already demand so much of her.

My daughter, she's my pride. She's pursuing her dream of making music, and while it fills me with joy, it breaks my heart not to be able to accompany her on her journey, nor to help her financially. The distance between us adds to my loneliness, a loneliness I try to combat by connecting on Facebook. This network has become my window to the world, a way to maintain a link with those I love and to feel less isolated.

Today, I turn to you, not out of choice, but out of necessity. I am asking for your help to get through this incredibly difficult time. Your support would allow me to manage medical and daily expenses, and perhaps, to see my daughter realize her dream, even if it's through a screen.
