My Dad was the victim of a grandparent scam

Hi, my name is Christa and I'm fund raising for my Dad Mike. He fell victim to a grandparent scam as they call it. He received a call saying his grandson had been in a car accident and as any grandparent would do, he pulled out the money. This drained his entire savings account.

I am not one to ever ask anyone for help or money but he has become severely depressed because of this. He is 81 and should be enjoying life and not stressing about money. Wether it's a dollar or a prayer, please keep him in your well wishes. He is the most kind and loving human. He worked hard his whole life for the u.s. postal service, raised four kids, is a Navy Vetern and is a loving father and grandfather and would clearly do anything for his family.

I just want to give him back the love and kindness he has given me, my siblings and everyone else he has ever crossed paths with. I can't sit back and relax knowing he is struggling emotionally and mentally because of this and not try and do something as a daughter. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
